About
Most marketing functions can tell you what they did. Very few can tell you what it returned.
If yours is one of them, you already know the problem. Campaigns run. Content gets published. Leads get logged. Nobody can trace a rupee of it back to revenue.
Building a marketing function from nothing is hard. Fixing one that's already reporting the wrong numbers is harder: now you're also unwinding what got built the first time.
My Story
In 2010, I walked away from eight years in enterprise IT sales (hardware, software and services) at Brocade Communications and Rocketleaf, where I'd built accounts like ANZ Bank, Nestlé, Barclays, Shoppers Stop, and ICICI Prudential. Instead of selling someone else's products, I founded a company of my own: Chimmera Animations.
Chimmera won a ₹75 crore campaign mandate for the Arise Asia Cup, against Percept. It also built a holographic film for the Indian Army's 50th-anniversary tribute to the 1965 War that the President and Prime Minister of India personally praised. Cipla carried over from my Rocketleaf days. Lava Phones, BCG, and HCL Technologies came on. So did a run of documentaries for national television.
Four years of independent consulting followed: Reliance Education, Tata 1mg, Earth Harvests, and others.
That choice set the pattern for everything after. I don't wait to be handed a fully-formed function. I build the one that's missing, then make it answerable to revenue.
The pattern repeated years later inside Prakhar Software Solutions. I walked in to find the group's brands with almost no real web presence: occasional event posts, no structured content, no foundation to build on. I audited it, rebuilt the web structure and social presence with the development team, then hired and trained my own digital marketing team, including how to use AI in the work itself. That team went on to launch the Indian Institute of Drone Training (IIDT) online, The Gravity International, and a redesigned PCG Global Consulting site, and completed Prakhar's own web presence too.
Running sprint-based B2B campaigns on moderate budgets, that team returned ROI between 1,800% and 2,000% across multiple engagements. Off the back of that, I built PCG DigiVerse, a full-service digital marketing and technology consulting practice, SEO/AEO-friendly by design, built on Prakhar's CMMI Level 5 backbone. I hand-picked a team of 24 and taught them to use AI across the work, from building the website to planning and running promotions, organic first and paid a month later. We launched in three months and were in conversation with our first clients within a quarter, then handed it to a capable team once it could run without me.
Today I work as an independent GTM consultant, advising founders and leadership teams across industries on their go-to-market strategy. I'm also a certified Independent Director through the IICA.
How I Can Help
If the function doesn't exist yet, or needs rebuilding, bring me in. It gets built with AI in the workflow from day one, measured on revenue, not activity.
If you're not ready for a full-time hire, bring me in fractionally, or as an advisor, until you are.
Twenty-four years in. Enterprise sales. Founder. Consultant. I know which one a business actually needs, and when.
If that's the problem on your desk, here's where we start.
